Beyond counting are the testaments by folks who have experienced a Mark Lewis storytelling concert and reported that he changed their lives, enhanced their romance, inspired their creativity, or a child’s inception. Hundreds of student thank-yous attest to being emboldened to write their first story, perform in a play or stand before a class and make a presentation. “Being seen” is one of the most repeated themes, especially from Mark’s students, or often they have recognized them selves in his poem, “The Thirteenth Cookie”, and no longer feel as much on the outside of their society.
